Individuals with mental ill-health or a disability

Workwise is the first point of contact for people in Calderdale with mental ill-health or a disability who want to work and/or develop their individual skills. Workwise arranges access to a range of specialist provision, training and job opportunities through our specialist Employment Advisors.

Accredited advisors will identify skills, abilities and future goals and provide information, advice and guidance impartially through our vocational profile process. We offer job search techniques, interview skills, identification of suitable training and further education courses, suitable work placement opportunities plus assistance once you get a job. On site support is given from Job Coaches that provide one-to-one support for the individual and the employer. Help is given regardless of age and at various levels to assist in the transition into employment or activity.
