Training Needs

If you are an employer in Calderdale you can make the most of our free advice service for training new and existing staff.

A Halifax Works employment adviser can assist you to identify training needs within your organisation and help you to source and plan training to address these needs.

The employment adviser will give assistance with identifying courses and potential funding sources, to reduce the financial burden on employers who are trying to train people and address skill shortages within their organisation.

Potential Funding

Halifax Works has information on a range of funding sources for accredited job related courses. Our advisers also have direct access to limited discretionary funding towards training and development of employees for use when the proposed training does not attract any other external funding.
Discussion with a Halifax Works adviser will clarify criteria, next steps etc.
