Halifax Works new Urban Employer Adult Apprenticeship Grant Scheme.

Employers within the Urban boundary of Halifax with less than 250 employees (see map for eligibility area) can access assistance with recruitment of new staff, financial assistance with training for new and existing staff resident in Calderdale.

This Adult Apprenticeship Scheme can be accessed by employers within the Urban boundary looking to up-skill a member of staff. The grant is for a maximum of £4000 per person, and can be used towards accredited training costs, wage support for the time an employee is engaged in training, and to assist with childcare costs.

This is a flexible grant scheme and allows the training to be built around the training needs of the employer and the employee.
