About Us
Halifax Works are here to help you achieve your potential. We offer information, advice and guidance services to people from the local community on accessing training and learning to help them get into work. Whether you’re unemployed, considering a career change or looking for a new job or promotion, we have the skills to help you develop yours.
Halifax Works has a team of advisers who work across the whole of Calderdale and our service is available free of charge to everybody, regardless of whether you’re in or out of work.
If you are an employer we can assist you with your recruitment and selection process so as to help you fill your vacancies. We have a database of people across the Calderdale area who are looking for work, so all you need to do is register your vacancy with us and we’ll do the rest! For those looking for work, it means that we often know about vacancies before anyone else does.
We have offices based in North Halifax and Hebden Bridge where we are able to meet people but if you are unable to come to one of our offices we can arrange to meet up wherever is best for you.
